New Session Begins Gentle B*tch Yoga Sundays 11:30am - 12:30pm - November 2nd-30th (No Classes on the 16th or 23rd) Tuesdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm - November 4th-25th (No Class the 18th) Thursday 5pm - 6pm - October 30th-November 13th (No Class on the 20th or 27th)
This is an all levels gentle yoga class, where we b*tch about life before class starts, and then we calm everything down with a light yoga practice. In these classes we go slow, but mighty. Students choose what they would like to work on that day and we target that area with gentle stretching and light therapeutic exercises. This class is for anybody with a body. Class is about more than just exercise, it is also about building community.
Things you should know
PARKING Downtown Salem has paid street parking for up to 12 hours. The bank parking lot is not open to the public, please do not park here to avoid being towed. WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE? Being on time is important. Try to arrive to class about 5 to 10 minutes early. This allows you time to sign in, wash your hands, find a place, and speak with your instructor if you need to. Enter through the glass doors on State Street. The door will be propped open. It is important that you do your best to arrive no earlier than 10 minutes to let the instructor prepare or transition between classes. If you more than 10 minutes late, there is no guarantee that someone will be upstairs to let you in. Apologies for any inconvenience
WHAT DO I WEAR TO CLASS? Wear comfortable workout clothes. You might want to wear layers just in case you get too warm or cold.
WHAT DO I BRING TO CLASS? Yoga mat and any props that you may want, such as blocks, straps or blankets.
WHO IS YOGA FOR? Yoga is great for everyone! Men and women of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds can benefit from a regular yoga practice.
WHAT IF I'M INJURED? First, make sure you have clearance to practice yoga from your doctor. You must be responsible for your own health. Once you have clearance, please just remind me that you are injured and make any necessary adjustments to movements.
